Job Summary:
Main Duties:
The Renovation Sales Consultant is responsible for selling residential renovations of all sizes, converting leads to sales, and accurately conveying customer and job site information to the head office. The Sales Consultant will use proprietary sales software for in-home quoting and track leads using a CRM.

B2B sales & Construction knowledge/ experience a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers to qualify and schedule job site visits, including follow-ups.
  • Take photos and measurements of job sites, create necessary drawings, and price out labor and materials.
  • Assist customers in selecting finished materials.
  • Finalize quotes and close sales.
  • Track leads in Buildertrend and organize information on OneDrive.
  • Utilize construction knowledge to understand job scopes, sales techniques, and building codes.
  • Visit The Home Depot stores to train associates on lead generation and maintain good store relationships.

As a Renovation Sales Consultant, you will:
  • Respond to leads within 24 hours (including weekends and holidays).
  • Qualify customers via email or phone.
  • Visit customers’ homes as needed.
  • Review project scope with customers to understand their requirements.
  • Build a materials list, including allowances.
  • Support and advise customers on design choices to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop and price renovation scopes using proprietary software.
  • Communicate scope and costs effectively to facilitate sales.
  • Identify the need for inspections or architectural drawings.
  • Submit accurate drawings to support project scheduling and ordering.
  • Prepare detailed packages including scopes, notes, materials lists, and drawings.
  • Research and understand market expectations.
